White Tiger was an American glam metal band.
The band was formed by former Kiss guitarist Mark St. John. St. John wanted to start a project with musicians who were previously unheard of in the music business and along with St. John featured former Black Sabbath vocalist David Donato, St John's older brother and guitar technician during his time in Kiss Michael Norton on bass, Drummer Brian James Fox
The band whose Glam metal image and sound was somewhat similar to 80's-era Kiss were dropped from their record label in later 1986 after executives saw no potential hit singles on their self titled debut album. In 1998 St. John was offered a contract with a small record label to record a new album with the band, which resulted in 1999's Raw which featured 20 previously unreleased demos and outtakes.
After the release of Raw the band played a few dates in the Los Angeles area and then disbanded.
On April 5, 2007, Mark St. John died from an apparent cerebral hemorrhage at age 51.[1]
